The Dog House is a premier kennels and training facility for Guard Dogs and War Hounds, strategically positioned just outside the Corvolis Gate of Hammerstadt. The site has been selected for its proximity to the city’s main entrance, allowing trained hounds to respond quickly to threats or patrol duties, while maintaining a secure and controlled environment for ongoing instruction and care.

This  initially constructed facility will house twenty hounds, with plans for future expansion both within Hammerstadt and across neighbouring nations, forming a network of branches operated by local Hammerstadt handlers. Constructed primarily from durable stone, the kennels are designed for both functionality and safety. Each kennel is individually fortified, providing shelter, feeding, and sleeping areas, while integrated channels and pathways allow efficient management of the animals.

Adjacent to the kennels, a small exercise field has been created, complete with varied terrain, obstacles, and training aids to develop agility, strength, and obedience in the hounds. Specialised areas for scent training, retrieval exercises, and combat drills are included, ensuring the dogs are prepared for both city defence and battlefield duties.

The facility also incorporates a secure quarantine area for new or recovering hounds, alongside storage for feed, equipment, and medical supplies.

The Dog House is not merely a functional kennel but a centre of excellence for the breeding, training, and deployment of Hammerstadt’s most loyal and capable hounds. It carries the official endorsement of the Hound of Hammerstadt, signalling both prestige and the strategic importance of the project to the city’s ongoing security and military readiness.
