Beneath the southwest of Morvalis, where corruption encroaches upon the land, a network of escape tunnels has been proposed to be carved with the help of Syradonian engineers. The tunnels will originate near Reapers’ Respite and extend toward the relative safety of Urdrevan lands, providing a lifeline for those fleeing the spreading darkness. Initially, a single tunnel will suffice, with plans to expand if the situation demands it.
The tunnels will be reinforced with stone and timber, designed to withstand both natural shifts and the occasional unwelcome intruder. Dimly lit by lanterns and guided by subtle markers, the corridors will provide both concealment and direction. The network’s creation is both pragmatic and symbolic, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, careful planning, engineering, and collaboration can open paths to hope and survival.
