Sabre Wing Wayhouse

A way house on the edge of the Sabrewing Estate in Valdraeth to offer support, rest and aid to any uncorrupted individual, particularly those travelling to or from Haven. Including a shop, inn, accommodation and a kitchen for travellers. Constructed from high quality materials, nice looking stones but with a focus on hardy construction, quality of structure and not overly decorated.

At the edge of the Sabrewing Estate rises a new sanctuary for travellers, simply called the Sabre Wing Wayhouse. Its construction is sturdy and unpretentious: pale Valdraeth stone dressed with precision, built to endure the harsh seasons rather than dazzle the eye. Within, weary wanderers find a hearth, a warm meal from the kitchen, and rooms fitted for rest. A small shop operates on the ground floor, offering supplies and remedies to those who brave the roads to or from Haven. The building serves as a haven of safety in lands often marred by the creeping touch of corruption.

In time, the Wayhouse is intended to grow. An expansion will add a library whose shelves will gather knowledge of the corruption’s patterns, a resource vital since the world’s forgetting robbed many of memory. A stable and herb garden will join the grounds, serving both travellers and scholars alike. More than stone and timber, however, the Wayhouse will be guarded by subtle weaving: enchantments that confound the corrupted, warping their perception so that they cannot glean its true purpose. Thus, the Wayhouse will stand not only as shelter but as a quiet bulwark of resistance, a point of light and knowledge amid Valdraeth’s shadowed marches.
