Supersizing the Scarabs

Upgrade to The Jewelled Beetle Grove

This proposal expands The Jewelled Beetle Grove, aiming to breed scarabs to larger sizes for decorative purposes and ceremonial armour. The project will incorporate a small stream and underground pools, designed to enhance the strength and durability of the beetles using earth-based and fire-infused magical supplements. Traditional Kairosi stone will be used for enclosures, with careful excavation to create subterranean habitats.

The proposal includes sculptural enhancements and decorative giant scarab statues to celebrate the creatures’ majesty. While the beetles themselves will be unharmed, adventurers will be employed to harvest shells in carefully controlled conditions. Future expansions may include more potent magical supplements, increasing the size, durability, and luster of the scarabs. This build emphasizes Kairos’ connection to magical life, artistry, and the enhancement of natural forms through ritual and craft.
