Hidden among the towering trees of Thornes Thorpe, the Wűnder Bar is a fortification that harmonizes seamlessly with its surrounding forest. The structure is designed to be welcoming to those invited yet subtly elusive to strangers, blending wood harvested from the local forests with the natural growth of high fungi to form walls, support beams, and defensive structures. The fortification relies on a combination of natural and manmade barriers, creating an almost living defence system in concert with the landscape.

Inside, the space is warm and practical, with seating and facilities sufficient for both casual gatherings and formal business. The Wűnder Bar’s location, partially concealed and enhanced by magical weavings, ensures that only those with the right knowledge or invitation may find it, preserving both the security of the patrons and the natural integrity of the forest. Every detail, from the sturdy wooden beams to the subtle fungal walls, reflects a careful balance of function, elegance, and protection, creating a hidden sanctuary of hospitality and vigilance.
