The Roundbasher Municipals, long-serving facilities of Hammerstadt’s militia, have now undergone full renovation and stand once again at the heart of the city’s civic defence. Once weathered by time and continual use, the structures have been reinforced, modernised, and restored to full operational readiness.
Thick stone walls have been strengthened and re-sealed, roofs repaired, and interior spaces fully reorganised to better support the evolving needs of Hammerstadt’s defenders. Storage, briefing, and administrative areas have been expanded and rationalised, allowing for more efficient coordination of militia activity across the city.
While carefully preserving the original architectural character of the Municipals, the completed works introduce improved layouts, reinforced defensive considerations, and upgraded functional capacity. The result is a facility that retains its historical identity while meeting contemporary demands of readiness and response.
The Roundbasher Municipals now operate as a fully restored centre of administration, training, and mobilisation. It stands as a renewed pillar of Hammerstadt’s security, where heritage and preparedness now exist in deliberate balance.
