The PMCS QUINNELLO, PMCS STARCLIMBER, and PMCS QUARTERMAINE now sail proudly waiting to be alongside the PMCS FEDEA. Together, these vessels extend the Guardian's presence across the Galene waters, providing speed, vigilance, and disciplined military support wherever the flagship's duties may lead.

Though built upon the same proven principles, each of the three two-masted sloops has been designed to operate as an independent patrol vessel as readily as part of the wider flotilla. Their weather-hardened hulls, elevated forecastles and aftcastles, and raised navigator's bridges provide commanding views across the sea, allowing crews to respond rapidly to changing conditions, identify distant threats, and coordinate manoeuvres with remarkable precision. Rather than serving simply as escorts, the Windward flotilla has adopted a doctrine of constant patrol and rapid response. The three sloops will range ahead of the PMCS FEDEA or spread wide across vulnerable coastlines, monitoring shipping lanes, investigating suspicious vessels, escorting pilgrims and merchants, and maintaining a visible Guardian presence throughout Portavas’ waters. When required, they are capable of converging with impressive speed, surrounding hostile vessels or forming a defensive screen around those under their protection.

Each vessel carries a pair of carefully maintained ballistae positioned to provide overlapping fields of fire without sacrificing manoeuvrability. Though modest in armament compared to larger warships, the flotilla's true strength lies in coordination. Their experienced crews drill tirelessly in signalling, formation sailing, and combined engagements, allowing the three vessels to fight as a single, disciplined force capable of responding swiftly to piracy, coastal incursions, or threats emerging from the open sea.

As darkness falls, the flotilla becomes unmistakable upon the waters. Lanterns bearing softly glowing shell sigils line each vessel's rails, their pale blue light shimmering across the waves in quiet tribute to The Guardian. To sailors they are reassuring beacons; to would-be raiders they serve as a silent warning that these waters are neither unwatched nor undefended.

Together, the Windward Flotilla has strengthened Portavas’ ability to patrol, protect, and respond across its coastline. Whether escorting peaceful travellers, reinforcing during military operations, or standing watch through the long hours before dawn, these vessels embody the Guardian's enduring promise: that those who sail beneath their protection will never stand alone upon the sea.
