Charterwright Day marks the end of the Hammerplatz-Zweiburg civil war and the founding of Hammerstadt as a united state. Following the destruction of Zweiburg Castle, the former rivals came together to forge a new, unified nation bound by a common charter. This day is celebrated as the birth of Hammerstadt and remains one of the most significant dates in Commonwealth history.
