The Changing Tide
Portavas declares independence from Hammerplatz and Zweiburg, forging its own path as a sovereign nation.
In the midst of the Hammerplatz-Zweiburg civil war, the people of Portavas seized the moment and declared their independence from both warring factions. This bold act of self-determination — known as the Changing Tide — established Portavas as an independent maritime power and fundamentally altered the balance of power in what would become the Commonwealth realm.
