The perch will be constructed with fireproofed materials and reinforced structural supports, engineered to withstand both the intense heat associated with a phoenix’s presence and the harsh environmental conditions of open sea travel. Its design prioritises stability and exposure control, ensuring that wind pressure, salt spray, and storm conditions do not compromise its integrity. Positioned at an elevated point on the ship, the perch will provide an unobstructed vantage across the horizon, allowing a phoenix to survey sea and sky alike.
