The Dog House Upgrade to Attack alongside the Grass Snakes - A Hammerstadt Military Unit

This proposal outlines a temporary operational upgrade to the existing Hammerstadt military unit known as the Grass Snakes, leveraging the skills and agility of the Hounds of Hammerstadt to enhance their offensive capabilities. Once implemented, the upgrade will integrate war dogs into the Grass Snakes’ field operations, providing added mobility, tracking, and tactical versatility.

The upgrade will involve specialized training for the hounds to operate alongside the Grass Snakes in coordinated manoeuvres, ambushes, and skirmishes. Handlers and warriors will be trained to issue rapid commands under combat conditions, allowing the hounds to disrupt enemy formations, scout ahead, or pursue targets with precision. The temporary nature of this enhancement ensures that once the foundational Hounds of Hammerstadt unit (BG.MU.01) is fully established, the investment in this upgrade will be absorbed into the main unit, consolidating resources and experience.

Construction of the upgrade will primarily utilise the existing Dog House infrastructure, requiring minimal additional facilities beyond temporary training obstacles, small exercise fields, and dedicated enclosures for combat drills. Magical weavings and enchantments may be employed to sharpen hounds’ senses and improve coordination with Grass Snakes operatives during manoeuvres.
