Designed in traditional Westwyk architectural style and colouring, this new structure is intended to both harmonise with its surroundings and quietly elevate the standard of infrastructure within one of Hammerstadt’s most neglected areas. The clinic serves a dual purpose: a fully operational veterinary facility and a teaching centre for the next generation of animal care specialists. Its mission extends beyond routine treatment, encompassing structured welfare programmes for animals displaced, abandoned, or injured during conflicts with The Corrupted.
Core services include a comprehensive TNR programme (Trap, Neuter, Return), alongside vaccination drives, spay and neuter services, and broader outreach initiatives aimed at improving regional animal welfare standards. The clinic is designed to function as a proactive institution, not only responding to need but actively preventing the spread of disease and neglect.
The internal layout is carefully structured around functional separation of space, with distinct zones for treatment, recovery, surgery, research, and education. On-site laboratories allow for diagnostic testing and ongoing veterinary research, while dedicated clean operating rooms ensure that complex procedures can be performed in-house without reliance on external facilities. A dumb waiter transport system is integrated throughout the building to facilitate efficient and discreet movement of medical supplies, samples, and equipment between floors.
